Vikneshwaran Subramaniam and Karthik Shamalan. This Singapore-Malaysia collaborative movie is probably one of the most anticipated local blockbusters scheduled to hit cinemas soon. One of 2017’s most talked-about movies right now — Atcham Thavir, starring Gana, Uthaya THR, Geetha THR, Aanantha THR, Revathy THR, Magendran, Rabbit Mac, Alvin Martin and Kuben Mahadevan — is based on true events. The music for Atcham Thavir is by non other than Varmman Elangkovan who recently gave us Aaradhana song.
Magendran (Vikadakavi) is playing a contrasting role in Atcham Thavir and has delivered some unbelievable moments. One particular feat is said to be a single shot in a colourful song sequence which required 4 actors weighing about 300KG’s to sit on top of him for at least a good 40 seconds for 3 takes. Meanwhile, Irwan Munir — Atcham Thavir’s cinematographer on the other hand is the same man behind the stunning visuals of the very popular Astro Telemovie “Mangalyam Thanthunanena” by director Karthik Shamalan and associate director Kabilan Plondran. The same team has worked on the visuals for this film and rest assured that this one is going to be extraordinary in terms of shots and lighting.
